Razorback Greenway Recognized for Environmental StewardshipChuck Flink, President of Alta/Greenways, accepts a 2012 Golden Paddle Award from Congressman Steve Womack, 3rd District U.S. House of Representatives. The award was given by the Illinois River Watershed Association (IRWA). Delia Haak, Executive Director of IRWA looks on as Congressman Womack presents Flink with the award. Flink accepted the award on behalf of the Alta/Greenways team, which consists of the client, AHTD, FHWA, the six communities of NW Arkansas, project design and engineering team and supporters of the project. The Razorback Greenway project is entering the construction phase, and one of the goals for the project is to be a model for environmental stewardship and sustainable development.
